As we all know dabbing is a pretty intense experiences and something that we all have to try.  There are a number of methods and all kinds of glassware to use.  My usual preference is a Sour Glass dabbing pipe.  What I have been using is the New sour Glass Mini Bee Dab piece.  Sour Glass in made here in Illusions Vape Smoke Shops home town of San Diego.  These new dab rigs are miniatures and made from black glass.  The have a Bee attached and are so cool.  They are the perfect mini dab piece.  Mine sits about five inches high ans has three barrel rings with a bubble on the bottom.  This piece is a 10mm so what I did was add a quartz sour glass dome-less nail..  I also use a titanium domeless, but really like the qwuartz one.  The titanium dome-less does look very nice against the black of the piece.  Although I am in love with this piece I have found another that I think is going to be the standard in the Vape Smoke Shop industry.  The name of this piece is the Dabaccino  cup dab piece By Evol Glass.  It looks just like your frappacino cup from Starbucks coffee.  The piece in entirely clear with a staw sticking out of it.  It has a male piece sticking out of the top of the cup that fits  a 10mm female domless nail or Dome.  This Dabaccino Cup sits about 6 inchs and is fast becoming my favorite.  The main reason that I find this Dab piece amazing is that you can see everything  that is going on inside and allow for the smoke to fill the glass.  Then its a quick pull from the straw to clear.  Its just as easy if not easier then drinking out of a starbucks cup.

The attachments for wax come in either titanium or ceramic. They also come with a replacement coil, because like all wax vapes, eventually the coil does go out.

As you all know when purchasing a water pipe, glass on glass pieces are a little more expensive then a glass on gromit piece. Why? you ask.

Well firstly a glass on glass piece is almost always better a quality of glass then glass on gromit. i.e the width/diameter and quality.

Next is the seal is  a lot better with glass on glass.

Replacing the pieces to a glass on gromit piece is a bitch! Have you ever been slowly twisting the downstem in and it breaks in your hand? Yeah it's no fun! Anybody can put a new down-stem on a glass on glass piece. It slides right in and out. The glass is also alot thicker so it doesn't break as easily.

Also the rubber used with glass on gromit is not good for u. You are smoking the fumes of it slowly melting!Not good!

Glass on gromit pieces are good for a every now and then, or as the water pipe u bring out when your clumsy friends are around. But i really recommend a glass on glass water pipe for your daily smoking.

Ok, So how many of you have dropped a few Benjamins on a nice ass piece, and not too long later you drop it or knock it over and you feel like you just lost a family member!? Well this has happened to me to many times, not only with my water pipes but my pipes and bubblers too! Eventually I learned to PROTECT MY GLASS with a simple padded case that go from $7-$30.  Some breaks are repairable thankfully, but it's cheaper to just get the case so you never have to take your baby to the repair doctor!

 These cases are amazing too! they have little stash pockets on the inside seam. And they have  a strap for the bigger pieces so you can take them anywhere with you without the worry of breaking them. They also hide the smell which is awesome for the pipe i keep in my car. 
 

It has now become part of my routine to put my baby back in her case after i am done with her. I know she loves me more for making sure she is safe! So be good to yours and keep them safe.

Say No to Metal Pipes

The caption of this post is about saying no to metal pipes. Metal Pipes are still in use because people are comfortable smoking the same pipes that they used years ago. When you place lighter to a metal pipe you start inhaling the carcinogens which may be harmful for your health. That is where glass pipes and vaporizers come in. Metal pipes are fairly inexpensive and people purchase them because you can throw them away and not feel bad for the $5- $10 you spent unlike a glass pipe that runs around $12- $15. Does your health have a price? In my opinion it does not, so go the extra mile and buy a glass one.... Glass is clean and reusable, a lot more than metal, plus you normally don't need a screen. People who smoke live normally healthy and calibrated lives, so we recommend you to use the utensils that will support that lifestyle u live. You get what you pay for, so if you cannot afford a nice glass pipe, use papers instead but stay away from metal.... Titanium on the other hand is not harmful since it is 100% pure and hold high levels of heat for example can be used for dabs!
