F.D.A. Cracks Down
CommentThe F.D.A. has recently cracked down on e-cigarettes in an attempt to verify whether 22 e-cigarette companies were operating illegally. The event that sparked this crack down is the exceedingly high amount of teenaged high school students who are now using e-cigarettes. As a smoke shop owner and industry leader I highly encourage that all smoke shops enforce the 21+ law and continue to ask for ID to ensure that no e-cigarettes are being sold to minors or anyone under the age of 21. E-cigarettes were introduced as an alternative to cigarettes to encourage those with addictions to cut down on nicotine and eventually cut the habit all together. Many e-juice manufacturers offer products containing zero nicotine and I personally know people who have gone from smoking one pack a day down to vape juices with zero nicotine. We will never be able to limit everyone from getting their hands on things that they want but we can be more vigilant, it’s our responsibility.

One of the cool new things to do is Take dab hits. It's a very effective way to take your medication and is different from smoking. People hesitant to smoke often because sometimes unpleasant odor, but dabbing is changed everything. Dabbing will allow you to be able to smoke more stealth like. Or You can easily turn your waterpipe into a dabbing piece. Adding a dabbing domeless nail to you waterpipe is all you really need to do. It will fit perfectly on your 14 mm or 18 mm glass on glass waterpipe. There are different materials that you can have your domeless nail made out of. The ceramic, titanium and quarter. It is very important to not over torch your domless nail, becauseof the high possibility of cracking your waterpipe. Adding to much heat will cause a dramatic temperature change in the glass and can cause damage. CERAMIC domless nails are a good start to your collection and are not very expensive. The titanium domless nail is also a great choice for the more experienced dabbers ( which is the one I personally like and think is fabulous, because not only does it retain heat for a really long time, also if dropped absolutely nothing will happened to it.)

But, you dont want to fill it to much over the bottom of the downstem.
One of my favorite types of bongs to use is the vortex waterpipe. It's a very versatile pipe and can be used for dabbing. What makes this Bong stand out is that the vortex percolator allows for air flow to move through it easily. he waterpipe will make the smoke vortex into a tornado. What makes this waterpipe different then other WATERPIPES is that you don't get any clogging. When dabbing your always going to get a lot oil residue that will get trapped on the percolator. So it's very important that your piece be able to handle this and the vortex bong does just that. But, I again tell you that a cool thing about the vortex bong is that it actually provides a tornado affect. Providing a good filter with the water allowing for a very smooth hit. Dabbing Cup
As we all know dabbing is a pretty intense experience and something that we all have to try. There are a number of methods and all kinds of glassware to use. My usual preference is a Sour Glass dabbing pipe. What I have been using is the New sour Glass Mini Bee Dab piece. Sour Glass in made here in Illusions Vape Smoke Shops home town of San Diego. These new dab rigs are miniatures and made from black glass. They have a Bee attached and are so cool. They are the perfect mini dab piece. Mine sits about five inches high and has three barrel rings with a bubble on the bottom. This piece is a 10mm so what I did was add a quartz sour glass dome-less nail.. I also use a titanium domeless, but really like the qwuartz one. The titanium dome-less does look very nice against the black of the piece. Although I am in love with this piece I have found another that I think is going to be the standard in the Vape Smoke Shop industry. The name of this piece is the Dabaccino cup dab piece By Evol Glass. It looks just like your frappacino cup from Starbucks coffee. The piece is entirely clear with a glass piece that looks like a straw sticking out of it. It has a male piece sticking out of the top of the cup that fits a 10mm female domless nail or Dome. This Dabaccino Cup sits about 6 inchs and is fast becoming my favorite. The main reason that I find this Dab piece amazing is that you can see everything that is going on inside and allow for the smoke to fill the glass. Then its a quick pull from the "straw" to clear. Its just as easy if not easier then drinking out of a starbucks cup.

Have you ever tried to pick out a bong for a woman! I will share the most important things that woman look for when visiting a smoke shop.
The two things that I notice woman buying are mid size at about 12 inches. The price range that is usual is about $100 for the waterpipes that most of our woman customers buy. Woman seem to not want the cheapest waterpipe nor the smallest. Most times they want something thats sturdy and easy to use!
